The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Next-Gen Version Gets Delayed

Another delay, another long wait.

CD Projekt RED has announced The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt next-gen version will now be delayed further.

In a recent statement given by CDPR on Twitter and Facebook, the developers have decided to have their in-house development team do the remaining work on the next-gen version of the game. Before, it was worked on externally by Saber Interactive in 2020, but it seems they have changed their minds now.

According to the statement, the team now working on the next-gen version is currently evaluating the scope of work to be done. Due to the change, CDPR has now decided to postpone the Q2 release until further notice. No official release window has been given right now.

Fans will have to wait a little longer for the next-gen version to be available. CDPR did promise that they will update everyone when there is some big development going on.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is already available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
