Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 and 2 Remaster

Game developer Vicarious Visions recently revealed that the upcoming video game remaster package Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 will not have any microtransactions at launch.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 + 2 assurance

The developer’s boss Jen Oneal recently talked with GameSpot about their plans for the upcoming remaster package. She revealed that there will be no microtransactions at launch and assured the fans of this. She revealed that everything that the fans see at launch will be unlocked with gameplay alone, which is great for everyone. She stated with confidence that everyone will get a complete package.

Oneal did say that they might add microtransactions later down the road. If fans want more additional content for the game, they might consider releasing it, but they would need to buy it with real money.

Cross-platform play is one of Activision’s market for most of their games, but the skating game might not have it at launch. Oneal stated that there would be more details of this in the near future.

The songs that many fans remember in the original game might not all be there, but they are trying their best to include most of it. Activision was not able to get every song because of licensing issues, so that is unfortunate. Oneal did assure that all of the favorites will be there.

The remaster will launch this coming Sept. 4. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store exclusivity.
