The term ‘gone gold’ means that the actual game is done and is being put on millions of blu-ray disk or DVD’s already. It means that the development cycle is complete, as well as the bug fixing cycle (doesn’t mean that bugs can’t be discovered later), and the “Master Disc” (gold) is off to the factory for replication and distribution.

UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End is the latest installment of the award winning Uncharted series from acclaimed developer Naughty Dog. Launching exclusively for the PlayStation® 4 system, A Thief’s End delivers the most thrilling Uncharted adventure yet with new gameplay mechanics, larger, more open environments, and enhanced graphics and animations that showcase the power of the PS4 system.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has a new worldwide release date of May 10, 2016.
