Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Unveils Extended Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer

In a thrilling reveal a month before its official release, Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have showcased an extended multiplayer gameplay trailer for their highly-anticipated action game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The 7-minute trailer offers a first look at the game’s Operations (PvE) and Eternal War (PvP) modes since their initial reveal at the Warhammer Skulls Festival in May.

Players can choose from six distinct classes – Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, and Heavy – to engage in both PvE and PvP battles. By earning Armoury Data and Requisition Points, players can personalize their Space Marine’s appearance through an extensive customization system. Unlock many Chapter presets or craft unique custom Chapters by combining individual cosmetic items, such as armor and weapon skins.

Starting September 9, Space Marine 2 players will receive regular free updates, including new “Operations” missions, PvP maps, enemies, and weapons. Season Pass owners will gain access to even more cosmetic options and Chapter heraldry through seasonal, themed DLC that will pay homage to beloved factions within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Further details about the Season Pass content are expected to be released soon.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 9, 2024. However, eager fans who pre-order the Gold or Ultra Edition will have the opportunity to dive into the action as early as September 5, 2024.
