Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Trophy Guide & How to Get Platinum

Here's what you need to know before diving head first into a Wo Long Fallen Dynasty trophy run

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is the latest game from developer Team NINJA and publisher Koei Tecmo. For those in the know, Koei Tecmo is the company behind the long-running series in the same era, Dynasty Warriors. The difference is that Wo Long plays like a Soul-like and Dynasty Warriors is hack-and-slash. Technically, you can play Wo Long like a hack-and-slice too but you might come to regret it.

In this trophy guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about getting the Platinum trophy in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. It’s an interesting Souls-like, to say the least. The demo gave us a pretty good idea of what to expect going forward.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty has a total of 51 Trophies to earn:

  • 1 Platinum trophy
  • 2 Gold trophies
  • 10 Silver trophies

The Platinum trophy run for Wo Long Fallen Dynasty doesn’t seem all that different from any other Soul-like trophy runs. Instead of getting a trophy for defeating monsters, you get one for swearing oaths with other characters. Of these, there are 17 warriors to join forces with. Do all that and you will unlock the Great Gatherings bronze trophy.

There is also a great emphasis in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty on raising battle flags and dominating battlefields. For context, there are 46 main and sub-battlegrounds in the game. Of all of those battlegrounds, there are 145 spots where you need to plant your battle flag in order to their associated trophies. From what we can tell from playing the demo, the more battle flags you have in an area, the more morale you will have. The higher your morale, the better you perform against enemies. I guess it all leads back to capturing the flag and domination all day.

Who knows? You might just accidentally reach Moral Rank 20 and unlock the Unstoppable bronze trophy.

Oh, and some battle flag areas are guarded by really powerful enemies. Unless you’re confident battling an enemy that’s 20 levels higher than you, you might want to go elsewhere and level up a bit more before going back for some unfinished business.

There are more than a few trophies related to crafting weapons and armor. The Fantastic Form bronze trophy requires you to have a full set of 4-star equipment in every slot available. At the same time, upgrading your weapons and armor to level 9 is what you need to unlock the Keen-edged and Adamantine Silver trophies. In other ways, they are more connected. We advise choosing a favorite weapon and armor combination and then going all-in on their development. Material farming is no joke in Souls-like games.

While you’re at the forge, you might as well strike the All That Glitters and Decor Maketh the Man off the list as well.

Wizardry Master, from what we can tell, is going to take some time as leveling up is closely tied to this. Every time you level up, you get to choose from one of five categories. The more you invest in one category, the more spells you unlock. The thing is, you practically need to max out your character to unlock all 70 spells and earn the trophy.

When it comes to specific Souls-like trophies, there are two noteworthy ones. The Pots and Potions Silver trophy requires you to unlock all 22 upgrades. And the Eye for an Eye Bronze trophy requires you to fend off 10 invaders. That’s the one online trophy for this title.

There are also 4 story specific challenge trophies you need to watch out for:

  • Heroes Will Rise
  • Staunching Heresy
  • Dogged Justice
  • Strung Bow

And finally, other note-worthy trophies are the Well-read Silver trophy for collecting all 31 tablets and the How Precious Silver trophy which requires you to feed 23 Shitieshou.
