World War Z: Aftermath Trailer Released Before Official Launch

Game company Saber Interactive has recently announced the new trailer for World War Z: Aftermath.

The ultimate co-op zombie shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film will launch on September 21, 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, and Steam with backwards compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X at 4k/60 FPS. This new trailer for World War Z: Aftermath will be released before said game launch.

The game is now available for pre-order starting today for only $39.99. Players who already have the original World War Z game can just upgrade to Aftermath for only $19.99 on the platforms they are on. There is also the Deluxe Edition that features two savage bonus melee weapons, which are the Sledgehammer and Dual Cleavers. There are also ornate weapon skins in the Explorer Skins Pack, which are now available for pre-order for only $49.99.

For PlayStation owners, the pre-orders will start on August 26, 2021.

All of the pre-orders will have two days’ early access to the full game that will start this coming September 19, 2021.

World War Z: Aftermath is being powered by the next generation of Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine. It allows players to join with up to three others or just be with on your own with AI teammates against zombie hordes in two new story episodes. These new episodes are set in the the city of Rome including Vatican City and Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula.

Key features of this game include new battles from a World at War, new ways to fight with the new melee system featuring two-handed and dual-wield weapons, level up eight unique classes with their own perks, have the complete World War Z experience, supports up to four-player co-op with full cross-play, and play in glorious 4K/60 FPS on next gen systems.
