Gasas Shrine: Well-Timed Cuts Puzzle Walkthrough
To solve the Gasas Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to cut the ropes of the hanging objects to make them fall and use these objects to go through the challenge of the shrine. It is recommended to have at least a good bow to make cutting the robes easier. There are also some arrows to be found by breaking the barrels near the entrance.
For the first obstacle, simply cut the rope above the hanging cube and then use the cube as a bridge to cross to the other side.
For the second obstacle, you will need to use the cube once more and turn it into a makeshift elevator. Place the cube in the ditch, then, still using Ultrahand, raise the cube high enough to reach the upper platform. Bring it back down or drop it back into the ditch. Next, use Recall on the cube to make it go back up. Ride on the cube as it rises to reach the next platform.
For the third obstacle, connect the two boards end to end to make a long bridge. You will be using this bridge to cross over to the next gap and for the next few parts as well.
Once you have crossed the next platform, consider getting the hanging chest on the right side by placing the bridge underneath the chest before shooting it down. This chest contains a Large Zonai Charge.
For the fourth obstacle, grab the cube nearby and attach it to one end of the bridge to serve as a counterweight. Then, place the bridge under the chest on the left side with the cube still on the ground and the flat part over the hole to catch the chest. Shoot the chest down and you will get a Small Key. Use the small key to open the door to the next room.
For the final challenge, you will need the board once again. Orient the board to that it goes sideways and angled diagonally so that it fits through the doorway.
Then, attach the board underneath the hanging ball. Make sure that the board is oriented in such a way that both ends of it will be hitting the ground once the ball drops. You can then cut the ball loose, detach it from the board, and place it on the hole to open the gate to the statues. Redeem your Light of Blessing to complete the shrine.
