The Gemimik Shrine is among the various Hyrule Surface shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which tasks players to solve the puzzle called “Turbine Power.” In this shrine puzzle, Link has to get crafty with a spinning turbine to open a locked gate.

Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to solve the Turbine Power puzzle of the Gemimik Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

    Gemimik Shrine Location

The Tears of the Kingdom Gemimik Shrine is located in the Akkala Highlands Region, with coordinates 4518, 2119, 0001. The nearest tower is the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower. Stop over at the small island attached to the big island where the Flux Construct is patrolling to craft yourself a hoverboard and get closer to the shrine’s landing point.

Gemimik Shrine Puzzle Walkthrough - Turbine Power - Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Gemimik Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to power up a turbine and attach different things to it to get through the puzzle.

Start by going to the corner of the room near the power source where you will find a metal board. Place this board on top of the two electric nodes to make the electricity flow towards the central node.

Take the turbine off the central node for now, then attach the fan head on top of it; doing otherwise will make the turbine wobble and topple. Place the turbine back on the node and it should create a wind column for you to fly up to.

Climb up the nearby stairs and fly up the wind column using your paraglider. You can first head over to the corner where the chest is to get a Mighty Zonaite Shield.

Afterwards, fly up to the other corner where you will see three flame emitters. Pick one up and drop it back down to the base level.

Take the turbine off the node once more, then attach the flame emitter on top of the propeller facing any of the torches that surround the node. Place the turbine back on the node and then hit it to activate the flame emitter. Flames will then be spun around, hitting all the torches at once.

You can then go through the opened gate to the statues to get your Light of Blessing and complete the shrine.

After solving the Turbine Power puzzle in the Gemimik Shrine, you’re now one step closer to completing all 152 shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can check out our other shrine guides below to collect more Light of Blessing:
