How to Unlock the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Popla Foothills Skyview Tower is among the Skyview Towers found on the Hyrule Surface in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Despite it being activated, it appears that it is still not in full working condition and Link must find someone who could fix it.

Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to unlock the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Popla Foothills Skyview Tower Location

The Popla Foothills Skyview Tower is located on Hyrule Surface, West Necluda. The exact coordinates are 0598, -2109, 0093.

How to fix and unlock the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower

To fix the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, you can take this optional step first: head down into the well that is just in front of the tower itself. Underground, you will see someone named Elmerson who has been trapped, but the way to undo the trap is by stepping on a switch which is on the other side of the trap. He will tell you about the cave down at the foot of the hill where he entered. Make your way out by using Ascend.

Next, make your way to the entrance of the Popla Foothills Excavation Site located at 0608, -2214, 0052 or just behind the tower. In there, head to the switch and push it to free Elmerson. He will give you a purple rupee (50) as thanks and he will then make his way back up to fix the tower. You can then use the tower to survey the land and unlock the map for the region.

Once you’re done with the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, you’re one step closer from unlocking all 15 Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can check out our other Skyview Tower guides to unlock more viewable regions of the Purah Pad’s map:
