Billson - How to unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

Once you arrive at the tower, you can talk to the maintenance person named Billson at the entrance. They will say that they could not open the door for some reason and will require some mushrooms to eat to get the energy to open them. However, this is actually not the solution, but it helps know where to go to solve it.

Sahasra Slope Cave - How to unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

Billson will tell you to go to the cave underneath the tower. The entrance to the cave is at 1326, -1155, 0138. You will need either a lot of bomb flowers or a hammer as the cave is filled with rocks.

If you follow a straight path into the cave, you will end up in an open cave that has three Horriblins; if you have reached this part, you have gone a bit too far. Take the time out to clear this cave, then head back around halfway towards the entrance again and start breaking the rocks to your left. Just a few whacks from where you’ve started, break the rocks to your right to reveal a smaller cave.

Inside this smaller cave is a small boulder that will reveal a passage to another smaller cave that have ores that you can break. Head back to the first small cave and look up to see a circular rock at the ceiling. Use Ascend below this rock and you will be transported right inside the tower.

To finally unlock the tower, all you need to do is to pick up the two sticks that have been propping the doors shut. You can then open the door to let Billson in and get the tower fixed. Then, interact with the terminal to do a survey scan and updated your Purah Pad with the map of the region.

If you want to explore the cave with the Horriblins, the chest that can be found in their cave contains a Shield of the Mind’s Eye.
