Zelda Tears of the Kingdom New Details Confirmed by Early Access Players

It seems both aren't that much different after all.

New reports confirm important details about The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Some reports from lucky early access players have recently shared their thoughts on the upcoming video game The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. They shred interesting new details and in particular about its frame rate and resolution when being played on the Nintendo Switch.

According to the players, the game still has the same slightly dodgy performance as the previous game Zelda Breath of the Wild. Some of them said that they were able to play with a stable performance throughout the extended demo with some even noting that it has been improved over the previous game. Others though, have a different take, which revealed that there were significant frame drops during hectic moments.

Nintendo World Report and Nintendo Life have revealed that the game’s base resolution is similar to the previous game, which is 1600 x 900 and runs at 30fps, even while docked. Even while playing on the new Switch OLED model, it still has the same resolution and framerate.

Still, this is just the demo of the game and not the full game, so this could change.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom launches on May 12, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
