The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Producer Eiji Aonuma claims that the upcoming game sequel’s gameplay will “change the game world.”

Japanese Twitter user Genki_JPN recently shared Aonuma’s speech (which has been deleted by the user for some reason) at the Famitsu Game Awards after accepting the award for Most Anticipated Game for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. He said, “In the sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, furthermore, the player’s free imagination will be filled with new gameplay that will bring about changes to the game world.”

Aonuma hopes that everyone would be “pleasantly surprised” by the changes. He expects that everyone would enjoy exploring Hyrule in an “unknown” state.

In related news, Canada retail stores are now offering unique pre-order bonuses for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. GameStop Canada offers a free pin set for customers who pre-order the game which is priced CAD $89.99 for its standard edition, while Walmart offers a rather interesting bonus: a luggage tag.
