The Worst Console Games of 2017

2017 was a great year for console games and games in general. With stellar game releases like Horizon Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. It has never been a great year to be a gamer. But once in awhile, there are those games that pop up that you thought would be good and yet it turns out to be one of the most regrettable choices of your life. Although we usually greet the new year with positivity, we’re gonna do something different and start throwing out the worst console games of 2017. So that we greet 2018 and hope that games this year will all be good. Believe me, I would rather forget about these games than have to recall each one of them. Anyhow, here they are in no particular order:

    Troll and I

    Maximum Games | Spiral House | March 21, 2017

From our review: “Troll and I does an amazing job of trolling people with its awful overall quality and expensive price tag.” (2.5/10)

    Road Rage

    Maximum Games | Team 6 | November 14, 2017

There seems to be a common theme here…but anyways it seems that Road Rage was not well accepted by most reviewers calling Road Rage a disastrous game and has been given a total overall score of 33 on Opencritic.

    Vroom In The Sky

    Poisoft | Poisoft | March 3, 2017

While the Nintendo Switch had a lot of success stories this year, Vroom in the Sky is one of those games that needs to be left forgotten and never be heard of. With an overall critics score of 19 at OpenCritic, this game is a game you want to stay away from.

    Aerea

    SoeDesCo | Triangle Studios | June 30, 2017

From our review: “Many would feel as though they are crawling from one uninteresting dungeon to another with no clear purpose of what they’re doing and why they’re doing it.” (4/10)

    Dark Rose Valkyrie

    Idea Factory | Compile Heart | June 6, 2017

From our review: “Dark Rose Valkyrie is trying to be a game that will supposedly surpass all the other JRPGs but instead it flops hard with all the mess it created.” (5.5/10)

    Sonic Forces

    Sega | Sonic Team | November 7, 2017

From our review: “Sometimes Sonic just has to get over a few speed bumps to be good, but this time it’s just another speed bump.” (6/10)

There you have it, the games that we need to get rid out of our system. Which console games to you were the worst? Let us know in the comments.
