Radical Fish Games Is Running An Indiegogo Campaign

Radical Fish Games is currently running an Indiegogo Crowdfunding campaign for their 2D Action-RPG, CrossCode, with 30% of its goal reached and 19 days left. An extensive demo, running on web browsers and Windows, is already available today.

CrossCode is a loveletter to 16-bit RPGs with modern action and puzzle mechanics.

You will follow the adventures of Lea, a player who is stuck in a fictional online game of the distant future. She also lost her memory and, on top of that, can’t speak. Now the only option to regain her memory is to play the game – hoping that fellow players won’t mistake her for a bot.

During Lea’s adventures you will experience a strange take on the future of gaming: a fictional online game about throwing balls.
Not only are balls your trusty tools to master several dungeons full of puzzles, they are your weapons as well. Together with close-range attacks and special skills, they help you to fend off hordes of enemies.

Combining ball-throwing with a fast-paced combat system, puzzle solving, world exploration and character building, CrossCode provides a mix of the RPG and Action Adventure genre, delivered with detailed pixel art and a soundtrack inspired by old SNES and Playstation classics. The new demo of CrossCode was recently released and can be played in any web browsers or downloaded for Windows. So far, the game was well received:

“… the game is not just showing that it is inspired by The Legend of Zelda, but is looking to surpass it.”  says Joel Couture of indiegames.com

“I urge everyone to try it out for themselves and see just how promising this game is.”  says Menashe of Nintendo Enthusiast

“It has a really nice visual style, an interesting story (…)”  says Vsauce3

The game has been greenlit on Steam after only 7 days.http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=390285073
Now Radical Fish Games is running an Indiegogo campaign to fund the development of the full game:
