6 Best Games to come out in March 2017

A few days left before February ends. Games like NiOh, For Honor, and especially Horizon: Zero Dawn were the best treats. Our review of NiOh is still on the works, while For Honor sticks at a 8.5 score from us, and a perfect 10 for Horizon: Zero Dawn. These are the games you have to pick-up if you have extra cash to spend.

Now, we’re ending February in a couple of days, I list you the 6 best upcoming games in March:

A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV (PS4, Xbox One)
Square Enix | March 1, 2017 (North America)
    Price: Free (digital)

Started off as a pre-order bonus of Final Fantasy XV, Square has decided to release A King’s Tale digitally for free on PSN. Though, not as successful as Final Fantasy XV based on critics’ reviews, A King’s Tale brings to you the story of King Regis with a deep combat system and a 45-minute gameplay — and one more thing, it’s free!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
    Nintendo | March 3, 2017 (Worldwide)
    Price: $59.99

Link is back, and that’s with the new Nintendo console — the Switch. Serving as a launch title, Breath of the Wild gives you more of an open-world RPG adventure experience — that’s 12-times larger of the sandbox in Twilight Princess. Edge, a video-game magazine publication, already got their review out and it’s a perfect 10 from them. With Edge stating that Ocarina of Time “may have to settle second place” proves that Breath of the Wild is spectacular.

    NieR: Automata (PS4)
    PlatinumGames | March 7, 2017 (North America) / February 23, 2017 (Japan)
    Price: $59.99

Considered to be a spin-off of the Drakengard series, NieR: Automata‘s events are set in an unknown year after first Nier. Automata still carries the traditional Drakengard dark-atmosphere and stories. It’s one of the most awaited games on the PS4 and PC. We already received a review code for NieR: Automata, and the game is amazing — read our review.

Mass Effect: Andromeda (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
    BioWare | March 21, 2017 (North America)
    Price: $59.99

BioWare’s 4th main installment of their Mass Effect series. Players will take control of either Sara or Scott Ryder in Andromeda. There is a lot of discoveries in Mass Effect: Andromeda that will definitely blow out people from their seats. With DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine used in Andromeda, the game will definitely look fantastic.

Troll and I (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
    Spiral Games | March 21, 2017  (Worldwide)
    Price: $49.99

Spiral Games’ Troll and I won Best Original at last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). A thrilling adventures with Otto and Troll, players can sit on the couch and play with their friends on split-screen mode. There’s a similarity of The Last Guardian in the sense of creature and man, and in Troll and I, players can switch from Troll to Otto and vice-versa. Players can take advantage of Troll’s strength and Otto’s stealth tactics and survival skills.

    Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX (PS4)
    Square Enix | March 28, 2017 (North America) / March 9, 2017 (Japan)
    Price: $49.99

Originally released on the PS2, and re-released on the PS3, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX is coming to the current generation PlayStation console. With Kingdom Hearts 3 coming, Square is taking advantage of doing re-releases on the PS4 to give players who missed the first two installments. It’s good business-wise, it’s also great for PS4 owners who didn’t get a PS2 and PS3 to catch up with Sora’s story with key Disney characters.

You might be wondering why I didn’t include Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Based on my preview of the closed beta, it had a lot of flaws and setbacks. It’s too early to judge a game that’s on a beta stage, but that doesn’t excuse that it wasn’t good. There were repetitive missions, animations were horrendous. Unlike For Honor’s closed beta, it was great, and it even proved that it still was when it came out. I have big doubts that Wildlands will do good, I might be wrong, but there is still this chance that it will flop.

So, what games are you excited for in March? Let us know in the comments!
