Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter: World, the first of the franchise to come to the three major platforms, is expected to launch on PC sometime around Autumn or Fall 2018.

Considered to be the first Monster Hunter game to launch on the PC platform, the game’s producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, posted a development update video over at Twitter regarding about the release.

The game is almost out, with the console version going on sale around the world [this January]. I hope you’re looking forward to it! As for the PC version, we’re working hard on it, and aiming for an Autumn 2018 release. We’ll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience.[/alert]

While it seems to be far off from the consoles’ launch date, it is evident that Capcom wants to optimize Monster Hunter: World before letting it out to the PC platform.

Sirus Gaming was able to get their hands on the beta, and as well as the demo at the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) event last year in October.

Monster Hunter World is a game that is best played with a friend or two. Although we didn’t get to experience that in the demo, just imagining the thought of hunting those beasts with your friends seems like a whole lot of fun. – Leif’s preview. Read the full article here.[/alert]

Monster Hunter: World will launch on January 26 on PS4 and Xbox One, also expect a cover story from Sirus Gaming one week before the launch date. So stay tuned!
