A recent twitter post revealed the physical appearance of the PlayStation 5 developer kits with the possible upcoming DualShock 5 controllers.
PlayStation 5 dev kits revealed
Two PS5 dev kits were recently revealed by a Twitter user. These kits were sitting side by side on desks together with two DualShock controllers. The controllers seem to be the upcoming new DS5 controllers that were patented just recently in Japan. When asked if it was his photo, the user revealed that it came from a developer who did not care if the images were uploaded on the internet.
The Verge senior editor Tom Warren confirmed that the image that was posted was real. It was also explained why the dev kit is V-shaped.
The PS5 is scheduled to launch in holiday 2020.
