Game companies PlayStation and Square Enix released a video that thanked the fans of Final Fantasy VII Remake, but at one part of it hints of a future port.
Final Fantasy VII Remake staff expresses their thanks
The video reveals producer Yoshinori Kitase thanking the fans for their patience and support for a successful release despite the COVID-19 pandemic. He revealed that the development team was aware of the high expectations of the fans and wanted to create a remake that fans would find exciting and memorable.
At one point of the video, it showed gameplay footage. There at the lower part of the video was a disclaimer that says Gameplay captured on PC. This is a big hint that the game might be coming to PC at some point in the future. Or it could also mean that the gameplay running on the PlayStation 4 was capture on PC. We have to note that Final Fantasy XV did come to the PC platform, so it is possible this one as well.
At the moment Square Enix has not officially confirmed of the PC version. The game is now available on PS4.
