Star Wars Episode I: Racer finally gets new-gen treatment
Bashaar revealed that the upcoming definitive version of the classic game will be coming this May 12 and will be launched on PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Many features will be improved with this new version.
The new version will have all FMV sequences improved with the new technology from recent console systems. Output resolutions have changed in the past 20 years, which is why they are re-exporting everything into increase resolutions. This will make the game look good even n 4K TV.
The controls have been re-mapped for the DualShock 4 and Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. The developers promised that the new re-mapped controls will feel as natural as the classic version, but this time for the modern controllers.
Trophies have been added for the modern version of the game. This is for the trophy collectors and just for evidence to prove to everyone that you played the game.
