Game studio NetherRealm Studios recently revealed the next additional content for popular action fighting game Mortal Kombat 11.
Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath is not a character pack
The expansion pack is titled Aftermath and it will be a post-launch story for the main one. It will be released this month, May 26, and it will not just new characters to the game, there will be a new story to follow.
Aftermath will be the story after Liu Kang defeats Kronika and then together with Raiden would have already rebooted the universe when all of a sudden Shan Tsung appears to halt their progress. He reveals that if they continue that the effects would be catastrophic. This is where the story continues with a small arc.
This new expansion will introduce three new characters for the large cast. There will be two returning ones, Fujin and Sheeva. They will have major roles in the new story. The new one is the surprise: Robocop with his classic look.
Aftermath will also add new character skins, a new update adding new stages, stage fatalities, friendships, and many more.
The game is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
