Far Cry 6 Leaked On PlayStation Store with Details on PS4 to PS5 Free Upgrade (Update)

Far Cry 5

A leak coming from PlayStation Store finally confirms Far Cry 6 and the rumors about the Breaking Bad actor joining the cast.

It has been confirmed after PSN leaked the details of the upcoming sequel with the cover art. It features Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito, who will play a major role as the dictator of Yara. Yara(Yala in rough translation from PSN page) is a fictional country that is inspired by the real-world country Cuba.

Aside from the confirmation, the details revealed that it will support a similar service that Xbox One and Xbox Series X offers, which is the Smart Delivery system. Owners of the PlayStation 4 digital version of the game will be able to get a free upgrade to the later PlayStation 5 digital version. They will need a PS5 console or digital console version, a PSN account, additional storage space, and internet connection.

Here is the rough translation of the details of the upcoming game, thanks to Resetera:

Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution.

FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

YARA TORN APART

GUERRILLA FIREPOWER

The PSN link has been taken down already but thanks to the guys from Resetera, there is already evidence of its existence. Now we will just have to wait for Ubisoft to officially announce it hopefully on Ubisoft Forward.

Thanks Resetera for the juicy details!

Update: Ubisoft replies with a teaser. Bravo Ubisoft, bravo.
