Insomniac Games Hinting 1080p 60fps Ray Tracing Mode for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Game studio Insomniac Games recently gave some interesting hints that they might be interested in having a particular setting for video game Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.

The Verge Senior Editor Tom Warren recently took to Twitter to post his impressions of the game playing on the PlayStation 5 with 30fps visual quality mode with ray tracing and the other with 60fps performance mode. He highly praised both game modes and attached a video showing both.

Another Twitter user commented on the video, praising it. The user did say that he prefers the 60fps mode, but also stated that visual quality mode also looked good. He thought that it would be “so cool if we can play in a 1080p 60fps ray tracing mode, that would be really awesome.”

To that comment, Insomniac Games replied with a smiley that showed intrigue or interest. While it might not be a complete confirmation, this could be interpreted as them being interested and feeling accepting the challenge to do this. Hopefully they would do that and that the results would be amazing. A future patch maybe?

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will launch on November 12 on PlayStation 5. It was also announced recently that the PS4 saves can now be transferred to the PS5 version of the game without any issues, but it will be on a later update.
