Resident Evil Movie Reboot Already Wrapped Up Filming

Sony Pictures recently posted on social media that upcoming film Resident Evil Movie Reboot has already wrapped up filming.

Sony Pictures confirmed the news on its official Twitter account recently. The filming took roughly two months to complete, which is way ahead of its release on September 9, 2021. The filming started on October 17 in Canada.

The current reboot is being directed by British Director Johannes Roberts. He is known for many movies and particularly with horror films. Way back when it was revealed, he stated:

With this movie, I really wanted to go back to the original first two games and re-create the terrifying visceral experience I had when I first played them whilst at the same time telling a grounded human story about a small dying American town that feels both relatable and relevant to today’s audiences.

The cast has Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Warren as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Neal McDonough as William Birkin, and Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker.
