Microsoft and Bethesda Deal Will Be Ruled on by EU Regulators Soon

A new report states that the deal with Microsoft and Bethesda will be approved soon and prior has asked EU regulators to make it happen.

According to media outlet Reuters, Microsoft has requested the European Commission approval for the purchase of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda. This will be decided on by the EU antitrust regulators by March 5.

Reuters states:

The EU competition enforcer can clear the deal with or without concessions during its preliminary review or it can open a full-scale investigation if it has serious concerns.

Microsoft shocked the gaming industry a while ago after it announced that it has plans to acquire ZeniMax Media and with it Bethesda and those under its umbrella.
