A Steam community website reported that Valheim has again gained another great milestone adding to its latest record.
Aside from its newest record of over 3 million sales, Steam DB has revealed that the rising-popular survival video game has now a concurrent player record of over 500K users. The exact number is 502,387 players. The only other four titles that have achieved this concurrent peak are PUBG, CS: GO, Dota 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Do note that these numbers are only on Steam and not the overall number of players from all platforms so there are other games out there that have higher concurrent numbers, only that they come from consoles and other PC platforms.
PUBG still takes the cake since it has taken a lot of numbers with a peak of 3.2 million concurrent players way back in January 2018. Still, Valheim’s latest record is a great achievement for a game that launched a few weeks earlier.
Valheim is now available on PC via Steam Early Access.
