Ratchet & Clank to get 60FPS upgrade for PS5 owners!

Good news for PS5 owners! Insomniac has recently announced on Twitter that the 2016 Ratchet & Clank will be getting a hefty performance boost.

According to the Twitter post, the upgrade will be available in April as part of their Play At Home campaign. The game is also free at the moment for all players without the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription.

So if you’re a current PS5 owner, you will experience that sweet 60 frames per second boost after the patch is rolled out next month.

Ratchet & Clank (2016) will be playable in 60 FPS on PS5 after a new update in April! As part of the Play at Home campaign, download the game for free now through 3/31. #RatchetPS4https://t.co/Iw6CMNByFU pic.twitter.com/VEFiW3IMWK

Personally, I have been waiting for this update because of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PS5. It would have been a missed opportunity for Insomniac Games if they haven’t considered at least unlocking the frames to 60 for the 2016 game.

Ratchet & Clank is already available on PS4 and will be free until the end of this month, you still have 2 more days (in the US) or 1 more day (in Asia) to get the game for free. So get it now!
