Electronic Arts and DICE have officially unveiled their official console partner for Battlefield 2042. This was a clear indication during the Xbox/Bethesda games showcase earlier this month on June 13 when a pre-alpha gameplay footage was revealed.
Xbox is yet again the official partner, making it the best platform to play Battlefield 2042.
With the power of next-gen consoles, Battlefield 2042 brings more players into the ‘battlefield’ by increasing the number of players in one single match to 128, with 64 players on each side. However, PS4 and Xbox One owners will, unfortunately, stay within the 64-player headcount due to hardware limitations.
Furthermore, the publisher also revealed that Nvidia will be its graphics card partner, with Logitech for peripherals, and Western Digital for its gaming storage partner.
DICE will reveal more details of Battlefield 2042 on July 22 at EA PLAY Live.
Battlefield 2042 is expected to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
