Game studio NetherRealm Studios has recently posted an update in regards to the support of popular video game Mortal Kombat 11.

The studio has suddenly posted an update about supporting their latest title MK11. It was announced that they have decided to stop supporting the game and will be moving on to its next project. The post revealed that the studio has supported the game for two years now and has released new content, DLCs, and new characters.

NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end.

Speaking of the studio’s next project, they did not mention anything that would give a hint of what it will be. Some speculate it will be that Marvel game, others think it will be the next MK iteration, and a few think it will be a whole different game.

Some fans are outraged of the studio ending the support, some just thanked them for giving their support for two years already, and others were just happy they are moving on to a new project.

Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
