Fallout 76 Design Director Mark Tucker recently shared some details about the endings of the latest major update Steel Reign.
According to Tucker, Steel Reign is the concluding chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel arc. They made sure that it will have a good conclusion with lots of interesting choices for players to choose from.
Tucker revealed that the decisions that players make in this chapter will have a big impact in the endings it will offer to them. In fact, there are going to be four broad endings to discover with this latest content update.
The director did tease that there is a big decision to choose in order to “determine the fate of this chapter of the Brotherhood”. He did say that there are subtler variations as well even if there are four broad endings. “There are a lot of smaller decisions that you are going to make along the way that will affect the outcome for certain characters.”
There will be four endings in terms of the narrative but there are outcomes as well for the NPCs that players will meet along the way and the decisions they make will affect how they will interact with them. It might make them hate the players or respect them, depending on what they chose in the end.
Steel Reign is already available to download for free for those who already have the base game. They need to reach level 20 first and then complete the Steel Dawn questline.
Fallout 76 is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
