Dead Space finally announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

EA finally dropped the bomb.

After all the rumors circulating about a Dead Space game getting revealed at EA Play Live today, Electronic Arts just dropped the ball. Yes, we are getting a new Dead Space game from EA Motive. A teaser was revealed as a show closer, and that was a huge surprise.

By the looks of it, the teaser trailer shows Isaac Clarke in his old standard Engineer suit in front of a workbench while healing.

Dead Space is announced to be a remake and will be running on DICE’s Frostbite engine to provide a better immersion in this classic sci-fi horror on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Philippe Ducharme, the Senior Producer of Dead Space, stated they have a “passionate team” working on the game and approaches this as a “love letter to the franchise”. Players can also expect a better story and improved gameplay mechanics when the game comes out.

Ducharme also said, “As we look to modernize the game, we’ve reached out to dedicated fans and invited them to provide us with feedback since the early stages of production to deliver the Dead Space game they want and for new players to enjoy as well.”

Dead Space is expected to launch only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC soon.
