What Platforms Will Aloy Be Available?

For those fearing missing out on Aloy due to the platform they’re playing it on, don’t be afraid. Aloy will be coming into each platform Genshin Impact is available on. It’s only a matter of when. For PlayStation players, you’ll be able to get your hands on her a little earlier than PC and mobile users. So while Aloy isn’t a PlayStation exclusive character there is a timeframe for PlayStation users to enjoy her first.

Aloy will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 when the Genshin Impact Update Version 2.1 drops. Afterward, Version 2.2 will drop which will make her available for every other platform.

When is the Aloy Collaboration Release Date?

As mentioned above, PlayStation players will get exclusivity to her first on September 1, 2021. Every other platform will get their hands on Aloy a month later on October 13th.

Be aware of the deadline as Aloy won’t be around for grabs indefinitely. Once the window opens to grab her, you’d better go ahead and take the chance. Aloy won’t be around to get for free anymore after Version 2.3 drops on November 24th.

How To Unlock Aloy

Unlocking Aloy is quite simple but has a few requirements. You can unlock her shortly after logging in. But only after Adventure Rank 20. You’ll get an in-game email after the server maintenance so there’s no need to roll the dice for her.

After November 24th, you might possibly have to get her via the gacha roll if you’re lucky.

Aloy Abilities and Skills – Attacks, Elemental Attacks, Elemental Burst, and Passives

Aloy is a 5-star Cryo bow user. She comes with a unique 4-star bow called Predator. People playing Genshin Impact on a PlayStation are exclusively entitled to its special effect. Here are details on her capabilities in the field.

Character Profile

  • Weapon: Bow
  • Constellation: Nora Fortis
  • Element: Cryo
  • Additional Titles: “Savior From Another World”, “Nora Hunter”

Normal Attack – Rapid Firing

  • Can perform up to four consecutive attacks.
  • Charge attacks deal increased cryo damage once fully charged
  • Can perform a plunging attack midair that will fire several arrows above ground before striking the floor with an area of effect attack.

Element Attack – Frozen Wilds

Aloy can throw a freeze bomb that explodes on impact and deals cryo damage. The freeze bomb can explode in contact with enemies after splitting into several chillwater bomblets that also deal with Cryo Damage.

Enemies who are affected by Aloy’s elemental attack will have their attack damage reduced which also gains Aloy one coil stack. If she can acquire four coil stacks, Aloy will gain the passive Rushing Ice which coats her normal attacks with Cryo damage. While this effect is active, Aloy is unable to gain new coil stacks.

Elemental Burst – Prophecies of Dawn

Aloy will throw a power cell filled with Cryo which can be detonated with the use of an arrow. When detonated, the power cell will unleash an area of effect that will deal Cryo damage.

Passive Abilities

  • Easy Does It: If Aloy is in the party, small animals will not startle as easily.
  • Combat Override: When Aloy receives a coil stack via her elemental attack, her damage increases by 16% and other party members receive an 8% buff in damage. This buff lasts for ten seconds.
  • Strong Strike: Once Aloy is in Rushing Ice state, Cryo damage bonus will be increased by 3.5% every second. This can stack up to a maximum of 35% bonus Cryo damage increase.

Aloy in Genshin Impact

According to developers Hoyolab, this Aloy isn’t different from the one we know in Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy has come to Teyvat in search of new challenges. Alongside the original cast, this guest hero will be fighting the good fight against those who would oppose your party.

There couldn’t have been a better time for the Nora Hunter to arrive too! As the Raiden Shogun has taken over the Inazuma Island with Baal ordering a Vision Hunt on the archipelago to purge the power of the gods from anyone who wasn’t born with them.

Everything I do is in the service of life, not death. That’s why I’m here with you.
