Game studio Sledgehammer Games has officially released the reveal trailer of upcoming video game Call of Duty: Vanguard.

COD: Vanguard has officially been announced with its new reveal trailer and it will be developed by Sledgehammer Games. According to the official website, players will be able to get this game on November 5, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

This will be the origins of the Special Forces and it will be set in four major theaters: North Africa, Eastern Front, Western Front, and the Pacific. This also means that four characters will be playable throughout the single player campaign. These multinational heroes are Private Lucas Riggs, 20th Battalion, Australian 9th Infantry Division, British Eighth Army, Sergeant Arthur Kingsley of the 9th Parachute Battalion, British Army, Lieutenant Wade Jackson, Scouting Squadron Six, United States Navy, and Lieutenant Polina Petrova of the 138th Rifle Division, Red Army.

Each of these characters become one of the original Operatives, which are the prototype of for the modern special forces soldier.

Online multiplayer will offer 20 maps available at launch. This game also offers a new Zombies game mode and is the first franchise crossover. This is being developed by Treyarch Studios and will still follow the Dark Aether story.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is powered by the next-generation engine that was first introduced in Modern Warfare. It offers optimized visual fidelity, photo realistic visuals, lifelike characters, and impressive graphical performance that enhances gameplay.

Players can transfer progression, profile and stats, and play on a different platform if they like. This feature is available on all platforms.

Aside from that, Warzone will be getting a new main map and a better PC anti-cheat system. It will also have the universal progression, which will honor previous progress on different games like Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and now Vanguard.

The new map will be released later this year together with the full integration between Vanguard and Warzone.
