Capcom Announces Resident Evil 7 Ships Over 10M Units!

Capcom’s hit horror title, Resident Evil 7, has just hit an incredible milestone as the game has just shipped over 10 million units.

Resident Evil 7 was the game in which the Resident Evil series returned to its roots, which of course would be horror and was also the game that shifted the gameplay perspective from third-person to first-person. It was thanks mostly to this direction that has paved the way for all the success that Resident Evil 7 has earned.

Capcom stated that the game has had a sort of resurgence thanks mostly to its sales on the digital front and to a bundle that contained both Resident Evil 7 and its sequel Resident Evil: Village which launched in May and has also had its fair share of individual success.

Resident Evil 7 was reviewed and scored a 9.0 here at Sirus Gaming and our reviewer, Leif Rey Bornales, had this to say “If you’re a scaredy-cat like me or you just want to prove how fearless you are, I totally recommend that you play this game. I can say that it will definitely change the way you perceive horror games. May it be that you probably don’t want to play it again or that you would want to relive the encounter over and over to make yourself numb to the scare. I love to be scared and I love the satisfying relief that it brings when you overcome it”.

Resident Evil 7 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch (in Japan) , and it also supports the PSVR headset.
