Before, we have posted our best games of 2017 so far for the first half based on our review scores. Now, it’s time for us to check how the games doing over at Metacritic, the most relied aggregate website by publishers and developers.

When we went through the list, we were all but surprised of the Top 1 in this list!

Here are the Top 5 PS4 Games on Metacritic so far:

    5 – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Developer: Naughty Dog | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
    Metascore: 93

Nathan Drake’s adventures came to an end with A Thief’s End. Naughty Dog brought a spectacular story and adventure about a retired treasure hunter who got dragged back into his dangerous yet exciting passion. A Thief’s End is one of the most graphically enticing PS4 exclusive. Sirus Gaming reviewed Uncharted 4 and gave it a score of 9.

4 – Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Developer: Kojima Productions | Publisher: Konami
    Metascore: 93

The last masterpiece from Hideo Kojima brought a whole new direction for the Metal Gear Solid franchise. With The Phantom Pain going for an open-world focused action adventure, it was a fresh experience for both newcomers and die-hard fans.

    3 – Persona 5

    Developer: Atlus | Publisher: Atlus
    Metascore: 93

The new installment of Persona 5 got nothing but praise across all critics in the world. It’s considered to be the best JRPG of this year; and with comments from publication that it’s the “sleekest” and “most polished” JRPG title makes it one of the best exclusives of this year. Sirus Gaming also reviewed Persona 5 and gave it a perfect score of 10!

2 – The Last of Us Remastered

Developer: Naughty Dog | Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
    Metascore: 95

We never doubt The Last of Us one bit. It has the best narrative out there. The emotion that the game brings is just full of moments that everyone can remember in their gaming history. Even as a re-release, it was a total upgrade for The Last of Us which gave a full 1080p resolution with a stable 60 frames-per-second.

    1 – Grand Theft Auto V

Developer: Rockstar North | Publisher: Rockstar Games
    Metascore: 97

Now, Rockstar Games surprised us with this. There’s no doubt about Grand Theft Auto V‘s success, but being the top 1 game on Metacritic for the PS4? That’s just wow. The system fully gave what Rockstar Games needed for its visual overhaul and performance upgrade. With GTA Online, the players are just having that enjoyment playing with one another, teaming up for heists, and just roaming around the street then go trigger happy.
