EA and Respawn Entertainment has recently announced the Apex Legends Gaiden Event.
Apex Legends Gaiden Event Start
The upcoming Apex Legends Gaiden Event will be coming to Apex Legends starting on July 19, 2022. This is just like the Awakening Collection Event where players can collect tons of cosmetics with a Mythic skin for players who obtain all the themed cosmetics.
Grab All 40 Cosmetics
Fans of anime series will have the time of their life as they will be able to grab 40 adventurous event-limited cosmetics. These will include Legendary skins for Revenant, Mirage, Octane, and Wattson with complementary skins for the Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8, and Charge Rifle. The skins are based from anime series characters like Monkey D. Luffy, Jonin outfit, My Hero Academia themed skin, and more.
Armed and Dangerous Mode is Back
Armed and Dangerous limited-time mode is making a comeback where the weapons are limited to snipers and shotguns. The loot is also much harder to find in this mode. It will be available from July 19, 2022 to August 2, 2022 with World’s Edge, Olympus, and Storm Point as the map rotation.
Two Challenge Tracks
There are two unique weekly challenge tracks that can unlock event-themed cosmetics.
July 19th to July 26th
- Rewards include:
- Fuse’s Down Thunder Epic Skin
- Bionic Buddy Gun Charm
- Epic 3030 “Cloudburst” Skin
July 26th to August 2nd
- Rewards include:
- OK Holospray
- 1 Gaiden Event Pack
- 1 Apex Pack
During the course of the Gaiden Event, Apex Legends will have the Special Offers tab that offers deals on bundles and cosmetics.
Collect all 40 event items to unlock the newest Prestige skin, Bangalore’s Apex Commander. These Prestige Skins and Mythic cosmetic Legend skins that have 3 tiers or 3 versions total of the Prestige Skin. Unlock tier 1 of a Prestige Skin to find more challenges to complete and then unlock tier 2 and tier 3 for free. Players can complete these challenges once they go live even after the end of the event. Complete the challenges and then unlock the respective tier’s version of the Legend skin that can be equipped. Any unlocked tier of a Prestige Skin can be equipped at any time.
- Gaiden Event Packs are available for a limited time during the Gaiden Event, but the items will be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items after the event ends.
- Gaiden Event Packs guarantee you one non-duplicate Gaiden Event item.
- The new event will introduce 40 new cosmetic items around the Gaiden theme.
- Gaiden items can be crafted with crafting metals. After two seasons, crafting metal costs of Gaiden Items may be reduced.
- To preview/view what the new items are, players can go to the thematic event tab in-game.
Apex Legends is now available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
