Tekken 8 Asuka Kazama Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Overwhelmingly Punching Power

Two new characters were announced during the recent EVO Japan 2023 event and one of them is featured in the Tekken 8 Asuka Kazama gameplay trailer.

Tekken 8 Asuka Kazama arrives with a brand new outfit in a school uniform for a prestigious school (based on the uniform). She still jumps in with her trusty bicycle ride into battle and is as rowdy as ever in battles.

Asuka has new gimmicks this time around compared to her previous iterations, but her attacks are as heavy as ever. When they hit, they really pack a punch. Her punches are rather heavier this time around and she has new jumping kick attacks that really put enemies to the ground, almost literally. Lastly, her rage art has a lot of power that you can almost feel the hits when they impact an opponent. The last hit would almost, again, bury an enemy to the ground as it would get damaged.

You could really tell Asuka has been training a lot since the last tournament and has now become more powerful than ever.

Bandai Namco Exec Katsuhiro Harada teased that her past outfits will appear in the game too.

Tekken 8 will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It is still in development.
