A new announcement has revealed that the development of the upcoming video game remake Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is getting help from another studio.

Aside from Konami’s own development team, it was revealed by a spokesperson from the company that they are getting full support from Virtuos to develop Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It is a development company that has been cooperating with the past Metal Gear series.

Asked who the Snake Eater remake "Development Team" is, a spokesperson says it's a combination of Virtuos and "Konami's development team." https://t.co/3XggUPTr6H pic.twitter.com/PefpZ8oxFv

Virtuos is known for its many ports of classic games to current consoles or handhelds. Its history of porting includes Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster to PS3 and PS Vita, Batman: Return to Arkham to PS4, and a few more. It has also helped with Guerilla Games with the art on Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West. It has also produced the PS5 remaster of The Outer Worlds, which is still getting more patches.

Aside from the assisting studio Virtuos, Konami has also confirmed that it is bringing back the original voice actors of Metal Gear Solid 3 for the remake. so, this confirms that David Hayter is coming back to voice Snake again.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming to PS5.
