Super Mario RPG was recently announced during the Nintendo Direct.
Super Mario RPG Overhauls Original Version
First launched on Super NES, this new Super Mario RPG is an overhaul of the original with new graphics. Players will be joining Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach, and original characters Mallow and Geno, in an RPG filled with twists, turns, and treasure.
Mario needs to team up with his allies in order to face down a menacing force known as the Smithy Gang in order to recover seven stars and repair the Star Road. Players who have played the original will enjoy this as a treat for the eyes, but newbies will get to experience this with fresh eyes the very first RPG in the Super Mario series.
