PS Plus July 2023 Essential Game Lineup Gets Leaked (Update)

Update: Officially confirmed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

    Original article below:

A new leak has revealed the PS Plus July 2023 Essential game lineup ahead of the official announcement.

This month’s Essential game lineup included three popular titles that many fans would enjoy: NBA 2k23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi. Since the lineup is quite good this time around, it was speculated that the next batch might include titles that are a bit obscure to the fans. Our website predicted that it was going to be Samurai Warriors 5, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, and Gran Turismo 7. It turns out the leak has proven everyone wrong on both accounts.

According to popular and well-known leaker Billbil-kun, the next lineup of free games for PS Plus in July 2023 will include big titles as well. These are Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (PS5, PS4), Alan Wake Remastered (PS5, PS4) and Endling: Extinction is Forever (PS5, PS4).

With the ongoing case of Microsoft’s acquisition deal vs. the US FTC, it is surprising that SIE is giving away a popular title from Activision. It seems to “mock” the deal in some way as the title is quite recent too. Also, in celebration of the upcoming launch of Alan Wake 2, Alan Wake Remastered would be a great way to do it. Before playing the sequel, better go through the first one again in its remastered version.
