    Annapurna Interactive’s Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth Announced

    Annapurna Interactive has officially announced Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, its first internally-developed game.

    Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth is the first new Blade Runner game in over 25 years. It will be developed by its own internal studio and will be set in the world of Blade Runner. It will take place between the original movie and its sequel Blade Runner 2049.

    The game will be “set in a dystopian Los Angeles after the Blackout hits”, but it has not shared any other information on the game or its release date. It does show a new teaser trailer.

    It will be directed by Chelsea Hash who has worked on Solar Ash, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Radiohead’s Kid A Mnesia Exhibition.

    The last Blade Runner game over 25 years ago was a point-and-click adventure that was available on PC in 1997, but the makers of Command and Conquer series, Westwood Studios.

    Set between the original film and 2049, Blade Runner 2033 takes place after the events of the Black Out and asks: what does a Blade Runner do when there are no Replicants left to hunt?

    Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth will be released on PC.
