Blizzard has recently announced that Diablo IV Season 1 details will be revealed later this week.

Just like its predecessors, Diablo IV will be introducing Seasons soon. This will appear on a quarterly basis and add new features, questlines, items, and balance changes that will be unique only to that particular season. They will have to complete the campaign first to try this out and have to create a new character for this specific run. For other details about this new season though, Blizzard plans to share more later this week.

According to the studio, the game’s first season of content will be detailed during a developer live stream on July 6, 2023 at 11 AM PT. Game director Joseph Piepiora and Lead Game Producer Timothy Ismay will be talking at this event. They will detail a number of planned quality-of-life updates.

Players will be able to access this via Season Journey screen, which will give them details on the new content available and explain the objectives they have to complete to earn the rewards for the current Season.

Based on Diablo 3, each season will have a battle pass that includes 27 free tiers, and 63 premium tiers. The free tiers include cosmetics and Smoldering Ashes while the premium version will have cosmetics unique to that season and Platinum. More details should be revealed soon.

Diablo IV is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
