Remnant 2: How to Get Bright Steel Ring

Remnant 2 hides many of its best items behind secret vendor challenges that the player may or may not stumble upon during the course of their many playthroughs. One such item is the Bright Steel Ring.

As many Wanderers know, the kind of evasive roll you have is dependent entirely on how heavy your armor is. The heavier the armor, the slower your roll is going to be. At maximum weight, your character is unable to roll and will instead flop to the ground due to the extreme weight of the armor.

That’s where the Bright Steel Ring comes in handy. The Bright Steel Ring is an accessory that gives its wearer the fastest evade roll regardless of their Armor Encombrance. With this ring equipped, you’ll be able to do normal dodges even if you are wearing the Leto Armor set.

How to get the Bright Steel Ring in Remnant 2?

To unlock the Bright Steel Ring, players will have to complete the quest lines of 10 different world instances. That means defeating the World Boss at the end of the instance. Adventure mode is perfect for this. You don’t need to pay much attention to the NPCs, just go straight to the end without getting distracted by all the surrounding dungeons.

Interestingly enough, your main story quest accounts for half of all progress to get the Bright Steel Ring.

In your time in the main quest, you’ll have gone through 5 worlds:

    • Losomn
    • The Labyrinth
    • N’Erud
    • Yaesha
    • Root Earth

The remaining clears can be obtained by re-rolling the main story or completing 5 Adventure mode instances. This is actually a good way to get alternate choices and to pick up loot you didn’t notice the first time around.

Once you believe that you have completed 10 Worlds, you can find the ring waiting for you at Reggie’s inventory at the cost of 500 scrap. Well worth the price as a means of bypassing the Weight restriction on dodges.

If you don’t see the ring in his inventory, chances are you haven’t completed enough worlds. And unfortunately, we can’t for sure which worlds take the shortest amount of time to complete. They all take a couple of hours on average to complete if you’re casually making it through each of the locations. That’s more reason to hunt down for secrets, right?
