Larian Studios’ hugely successful RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 has now become this year’s best-reviewed game according to Metacritic.
According to the review-aggregate site Metacritic, its successful RPG has the highest combined score of any other game. It even tops the recently popular game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It currently has a combined score of 97 while Tears of the Kingdom is a runner-up with 96.
The rest of the top five are Metroid Prime Remastered and The Witcher 3 – Wild Hunt: Complete Edition with both having combined scores of 94. Tetris Effect: Connected and Resident Evil 4 also have critic scores of 93.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s 97 comes from just 21 critic reviews while The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s 96 score comes from 145 reviews. The score could still change with more reviews.
The game on Steam has a lot of positive reviews and its concurrent players are steadily rising by the day.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available on PC. Console versions will be released later.
