Bandai Namco Entertainment has recently held the Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon Showcase and it heavily highlights the most awaited PvP mode.
The Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon Showcase was hosted by @VampyBitMe and Twitch Streamer Zealous. Various footages were shown in the livestream including a previous clip like the Lore video, but they also showcased a new one that showcased gameplay. It also featured live gameplay footage with player FightinCowboy going through one mission and customizing the AC before starting. Resources are quite limited in single player missions so players might want to save up and look for stashes that are scattered in the map that can reload ammunition and possibly for repair.
With that squared away, the showcase then moved to the PvP section that lasted really long. It seemed to take half of the showcase, but it was fun to watch 3v3 battles with various AC builds. Team of FightinCowboy was fighting against Ouroborus Team, testing out various builds with different body parts, weapons, add-ons, and more. Each customization needs to be thought out and must be to a player’s advantage or else it will be hard to survive for a round.
Getting defeated once will not automatically kick out a player. Once an AC gets destroyed, it will respawn after a set amount of time. To win, players must get the highest points before time runs out. There are various factors that can affect points like the amount of time surviving, the way a player destroys an opponent’s AC, and more.
At the end of the showcase, a 1v1 battle was held. FightinCowboy had the better gear and AC compared to Ouroborus so it was an easy win.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon launches on August 25, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
