Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Offers No Bonus for Previous Game Saves

Insomniac Games has clarified the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bonus for previous game saves.

Fans of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series might be thinking right now that if they complete previous games, they might get big bonuses that they can get in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Some are hoping that they can get skill points, a sick new costume exclusive to those who have previous saves, and many more. Well, it seems Insomniac Games is here to confirm to break your happy speculations into pieces and face reality.

Community Director James Stevenson was recently asked on Twitter if there will be any in-game awards for completing the game or getting platinum trophies from the previous games. His answer was short and swift: “There are not.”

In previous Insomniac games, players were able to take advantage of save import bonuses. Ratchet and Clank sequels offered free weapons and shop discounts to players who got those saves in their consoles. It was a great time when players got rewarded for having a completed save in previous titles.

    Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
