Nintendo has shared new details on Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, the next mainline entry in the long-running tactical RPG franchise. First revealed last year, the upcoming title is set to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
The story of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave centers around the Heroic Games, a gladiatorial tournament held within the Dagdan Empire. The event is overseen by the Divine Sovereign, who promises to grant the wishes of its champions. Contestants from across the realm enter the competition, each driven by their own ambitions, beliefs, and personal goals.
Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will launch on September 17, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are now available through participating retailers and digital storefronts.
