Game company Square Enix recently revealed that the PlayStation 4 version of MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition is free.
Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition free for limited time
The Starter Edition of the popular MMORPG will be available for free to download for a limited time only. Interested players must get it on the PlayStation Store before May 26. It is only available to these regions: Japan, North America, and Europe.
When players download the game on their PS4 console systems, they will get the starter package and 30 days of gameplay. It will not include the expansion and must be purchased separately. This is still the better package compared to the free trial.
No promo was revealed for the PC version.
