A recent report is stating that multi-award winning video game The Last of Us Part 2 might just get new-gen patch in the near future.
According to the report from ResetEra, there is currently a patch in the works that would upgrade TLOU Part 2 for the PlayStation 5. This comes from a reputable member from the forums, Navtra. He said that the patch could be coming at some point, but they are not sure if it is still happening or when.
It would not be a surprise though as there were some reports of movement from game studio Naughty Dog a while ago. Also, a PS5 upgrade would definitely improve the game.
Navtra has a reputation of giving out correct predictions and uncovering information before it goes out to public.
Still, take this with a grain of salt for now.
The Last of Us Part 2 is now available exclusively on PlayStation 4 and backwards compatible with the PS5.
