After the disastrous launch of Battlefield 2042, DICE has been planning to make some changes to the game soon and that includes fixes to a lot of things and rebalances for most features.
Several tweets from the developers revealed that they will be making a lot of changes soon to the game after it was received quite poorly on several platforms. It had a very buggy launch and many reported issues like dead players being nearby walls or objects could not revive properly, and more. DICE vows to make these issues go away soon.
In one of the tweets that the developers posted, it was revealed that DICE is trying make rebalances for vehicles. Many players were complaining about the LCAA Hovercraft being too overpowered and many players were using them just to win a lot of matches without breaking a sweat. It will be nerfed soon, which will reduce health, armor and weapons.
Another vehicle is going to be nerfed too with the upcoming update. The MD540 Nightbird helicopter had some very overpowered guns. They will be nerfing that, reducing its firepower.
There were also issues with the loadouts not showing up. According to DICE, this is a server-side problem and they already fixed it on their end. They are now testing this out before they can release it to the public.
A lot of fixes and tweaks will be coming soon with a new update so stay tuned.
Battlefield 2042 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
