In a new report, The Pokemon Company revealed that both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl sales are now over 6 million units worldwide.
The game company shared the sales they recorded for both titles that were recently launched. The numbers from its first week or release were in and it had surpassed 6 million units worldwide sales, a big milestone for them. According to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (via Siliconera translation), sales of both games in Japan alone were 1.3 million units, which included physical copies only.
Both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes of the original titles of the same name without the initial word addition. The visuals have been upgraded and have been recreated in 3D, but the most of the gameplay and story are faithful to the original version. Also, its music was remastered to make it modernized.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are both now available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
